Hot, Hot, Hot

Currently the 1980s are hot, hot, hot! So, hold a theme day in which students and staff are encouraged to dress like musicians from that era. Hang up “Reading Rocks!” Posters to create a rockin’ mood. Use “Reading Rocks!” Book Clips to reward everyone who dresses up. Provide all students with a list of notable children’s books written in the ‘80s.
