Tall Tales

Have students explore make believe with a project on mythology. Discuss the role mythology played in ancient cultures as well as in today’s world. Require children to read mythological stories and then write their own. At the end of the unit, have each student read his or her myth to the class. Then give everyone a “Super Reader” Pencil.
